(english) Ghosts cupcakes

I just finished so I know now what sweets to prepare  for Halloween🙂 Delicious and funny. I found some interesting decoration on this website and I decided to try. A. and I have chosen the ghosts, he loves them, and they look really cute. Dark chocolate for the cake and white and dark chocolate for the decoration. To prepare them you need about two hours including the cooking time (20 minutes).  I’ve tried two cake recipes, one with cocoa and one without it …. you can choose. My kitchen was invaded by a cupcakes army ready to be stuffed and there were bowls of melted chocolate everywhere🙂  Cleaning the mess has been not particularly funny , on the other hand  it’s been easy eating the raisin bread made by A., but  I’ll tell you about this  next time😉

Ingredients for 12 cupcakes

RECIPE with cocoa

100 g dark chocolate
120 g of butter
200 g sugar
2 eggs
150 ml of milk
150 g flour
50 g cocoa powder
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Melt the chocolate in a bowl set over a pan of warm water with the butter, stirring until they are well blended. Then set it aside to cool. Add sugar, cocoa, lightly beaten eggs and milk. Finally, add the flour sifted with baking powder. Stir gently until everything blended.

Divide the mixture into molds and bake in a preheated oven at 180 C (360 F) for 20 minutes (this depending on oven).
Remove from the oven and let cool

RECIPE without cocoa

100 g dark chocolate
100 g of butter
200 g of sugar
1 egg
150 ml of milk
200 g of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Melt the chocolate in a bowl set over a pan of warm water with the butter, stirring until they are well blended. Then set it aside to cool. Add sugar, lightly beaten egg and milk. Finally, the flour sifted with baking powder. Stiruntil everything blended.
Divide the mixture into molds and bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 20-25 minutes.

FOR THE DECORATION

200 g dark chocolate
50 g thickened cream
4 cupcakes crumbled
Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat it on high for one minute or until the chocolate is melted. Alternatively you can melt it in a bain-marie. Once melted let cool a bit. If it seems too thick, add other cream

Dark chocolate and white chocolate for the trees

The amount of chocolate depends on how many trees and ghosts you draw, how much practice you have in making the decorations and how much chocolate you eat while you prepare them, or how many children you have at home that put the spoon in the pot🙂
Melt the chocolate in a bowl set over a pan of warm water and then let it cool. Use it to draw the trees on the parchment paper and place in the refrigerator. Meanwhile, melt white chocolate to draw ghosts directly on the branches of the (hardened) trees . Draw the eyes and let solidify

Now that all the ingredients are ready, you can prepare your Ghost-CUPCAKES: Take the cakes, cover them with the stuffing to create the effect of the ground, make an incision on the surface and  insert the trees.
I’ve also prepared some nice cupcakes with the ghosts rising out of  the ground😀
