It’s a quick and tasty recipe, is perfect for the people that do not like fish too much. They are crispy patties that you can make baked or fried. You can eat them as appetizer accompanied by delicious sauces or as a main dish and a rich salad. Children like a lot, when F. has tasted it, he raised his thumb and he said: “delicious, you can put them on the blog 🙂
I tried them with cod fillets, if you try with another type of fish let me know … !
400g cod fillets
1 clove of garlic
50 g slices bread
40 g of grated Parmesan
1 sprig of parsley
a few sprigs of thyme
(flour as needed)
(oil for frying if you want them fried)
Tear the bread into small piece (or use bread crumbs) and put it to the bowl.
Chop the fish fillets finely, or in a blender for a few seconds.
In a bowl mix the fish, the bread, herbs and garlic chopped, add the parmesan and egg. Season with a little salt and pepper. Then use your hands or fork to mix everything together and form small balls. Dust them whit flour and fry them.
If you prefer baked in the oven at 180 C for 20 minutes, turning regularly.
